Let’s get started! 10 Apps You Must Have!
1. Adobe Lightroom CC
I think most people already use this, but it is the absolute best app for uploading a preset and quickly applying it to a photo to create a professional-looking picture. Using a preset is super easy to upload into Adobe Lightroom CC and gives your feed that overall cohesive look.
2. TouchRetouch
This app is my lifesaver for removing objects. It is so easy to use and makes my life so much easier when self-shooting campaigns. I can spend less time trying to remove objects out of the way and more time capturing the perfect image I need. Later I can easily upload my photo into retouch and remove all those pesky objects getting in the way.
3. WhenToPost
I just discovered this app and It’s a lifesaver. The analytics Instagram offers that tells you when your audience is online the most can be effective too. However, I have found my reach has increased since using this app as it pulls more in-depth data in my opinion.
4. Preview
This app is a necessity if you are a blogger/content creator. It helps you plan out and see how posts will look before they go live to ensure your feed looks cohesive and aesthetically pleasing. You can also schedule your posts with preview if you choose. I simply use it as a good way to review my grid and how it will look.
5. Tailwind App
This app is amazing. If you want to start getting more page views and sessions and upping the ante on your blogging game, you simply need this. It is such a time saver as you can pre-schedule all your pinning and let the app do all the hard work while you carry on with your day.
Tailwind can also be used as an Instagram Scheduler as well if you like scheduling your posts. It doesn’t stop there though. With Tailwind, you can use their hashtag finder which has proven to find the best hashtags for your niche and for what you’re writing about in your post.
They also regularly send out really impressive tips on blogging and how to optimize your use with the app. It’s a win-win! Every blogger needs tailwind that is why there are so many of us telling you this!
6. Canva
I have no idea what I would do without Canva. It’s where every single one of my designs come from. From Instagram highlight photos to Instagram stories to Pinterest Pins to my media kit design, etc… The list goes on. With blogging and content creation, we do so much designing, and Canva makes it SO easy.
7. InStories
I think we all know how hard it is to get story views these days. The influencer marketing world is eating up the video footage right now. More and more people are getting into watching videos, however, they will only stay interested in your story if it is interesting.
That’s where InStories comes into play. It is full of beautiful professional-looking templates to help you take your Insta Story game to the next level. You will have your viewers coming back for more, trust me!
8. Quik
With video footage being wanted these days, QUIK is such an easy app to make professional-looking videos. From IGTV to just a good looking story, I use QUIK. Sometimes I use QUIK and InStories together to get the absolute perfect video.
9. Followers
The follower’s app I use regularly to keep track of my new followers. Why? Because I have a goal of making my Instagram mainly woman as It is a motherhood blog after all. Right now I am at 94% Woman which is pretty good, but I am aiming for 98%. Nothing against you guys or dads, you are welcomed too, but after all, #womansupportingwoman right?
The thing is, I share photos of my kids and I take that seriously. Being able to regularly check and see who has recently followed me allows me to regularly screen people. You wouldn’t believe the number of people I block and delete to make sure I am protecting my family to the best of my ability. Instagram itself only shows you a small screen of who some of your new followers are. I find this app useful to see everyone in order of most recent followers.
10. Grammarly
This is a big one for bloggers who write regularly like me. Although I love writing, sometimes I just get on a roll and don’t necessarily watch my spelling or wording on things. Grammarly is a LIFESAVER. This desktop app not only corrects your grammatical errors, but it helps show you how to enhance a sentence or to give more clarity.
After all, there are a TON of people out there that are bothered by bad grammar. Take the next step to upping your ante as I have said, and make sure your grammar is spot on with Grammarly!
